Our hand-knitted natural wool jumpers are the perfect addition to any wardrobe. They were traditionally worn by seamen while at sea fishing around the coast of Britain and and exceptionally warm.
Fisherman jumpers, also known as Aran jumpers in Ireland, gained popularity because of their incredible warmth and hardwearing properties. Our jumpers are perfect for both men and women.
Our jumpers and cardigans come from the highest quality untreated natural wool sourced in New Zealand and Nepal.
It is then hand-knitted by Anita and her family in Nepal. Anita's family have been knitting exclusively for The Curious Yak for 10 years now; We are delighted they're part of our team.
With the correct care a pure wool jumper or cardigan will last a lifetime.
All of our pure wool jumpers & cardigans come packaged in our branded organic cotton drawstring bags. These can be used for storing your items in the summer months and used for washing.
